Participating centres

The Join Now, Don’t Pay Until 2025 promo membership allows access to all council operated fitness centres, pools and group fitness classes (excl. Generation 612). Access may vary from 6 January 2025, depending on your chosen membership.

Allan Brewster Leisure Centre, Birkenhead Pool and Leisure Centre, East Coast Bays Leisure Centre, Glenfield Pool and Leisure Centre, Howick Leisure Centre, Lloyd Elsmore Park Pool and Leisure Centre, Manurewa Pool and Leisure Centre, Marina Fitness, Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa Pool and Leisure Centre, Ōtara Pool and Leisure Centre, Papatoetoe Centennial Pools and Leisure Centre, Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Centre, Takapuna Pool and Leisure Centre (note: Lane Pool, Sauna, Spa, Steam closed 29 Oct – 24 Nov), Tepid Baths and West Wave.

Pool Closures

Albany Stadium Pool: Closed from 18 November to Sunday 15 December.
Takapuna Pool and Leisure Centre: Gym open on weekdays only until 25 November. Pools closed until 25 November.

Terms and Conditions

The promotional period:

11 November – 15 December 2024.

The offer:

Join on a new direct debit membership any time between 11 November and 15 December 2024 and pay nothing until the week starting 6 January 2025.

The detail:

A minimum term of 6 months applies from 6 January 2025.
The Join Now, Don’t Pay Until 2025 membership offer allows access to all council operated fitness centres, pools and group fitness classes (excl. Generation 612). Access may vary from 6 January 2025 depending on your chosen membership.
The offer is available to new members with no current membership during the promotional period.
Available for customers signing up on a direct debit membership only. At the time of purchase (in centre) or picking up your membership card (myLEISURE sign up) you will be required to select the direct debit membership of your choice.
The membership start date must be within the promotional period (11 November – 15 December 2024).
From 6 January, payments will begin for the membership price you selected at time of sign-up. Prices will vary dependent on the membership you choose.
No joining fee when signing up on this offer.
No suspensions can be applied before 6 January 2025.
At the end of the 6-month minimum term, your membership and payments will continue without further notice.

Normal membership fees apply throughout.
Not available in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
In the event you cancel your membership within the minimum term, a cancellation fee will apply. See clause 5 of the standard terms and conditions.
In the event your membership is terminated during the minimum term due to consecutive missed payments, a cancellation fee will apply. See Clause 20 of the standard terms and conditions.
